The Craft (With or w/out The Exorcist Double Feature)

The Craft (With or w/out The Exorcist Double Feature)

6:20pm - Tuesday, Oct 31, 2017

Now is the time.
This is the hour.
Ours is the magic.
Ours is the power.

Unleash your inner-90's witch with a special, prime-time screening of THE CRAFT - on Halloween!

(Even better - it's screening as part of our Halloween Night Double Feature with THE EXORCIST! The power of Christ compels you to see one - or both! - for one sweet n' spooky price... Audience costumes welcome and encouraged!)

Neve Campbell, Fairuza Balk, Robin Tunney and Rachel True star as a group of misfit girls on the fringe of their high school crowd who band together to form a unique clique (or, perhaps, "coven") of their own. What starts out as just harmless fun - getting back at those people who'd slight them - soon grows out of control. Also starring Skeet Ulrich, Christine Taylor, and Breckin Meyer.

THE CRAFT (Andrew Fleming, 1996 / 111 mins) | When newcomer Sarah (Robin Tunney) moves to a new city with her family to start a new life, she makes fast friends wih some of the girls in her schoool who are just as "on the fringe" as she is. A shared interest in the occult goes further than they expected as they each attain unusual powers. What starts out as good fun soon turns dangerous.

THE EXORCIST (William Friedkin, 1973 / 135 mins / 18 A / Director's Cut) 12-year-old Regan MacNeil begins to adapt an explicit new personality as strange events befall the local area of Georgetown. Her mother becomes torn between science and superstition in a desperate bid to save her daughter, and ultimately turns to her last hope: Father Damien Karras, a troubled priest who is struggling with his own faith.
