The Room

The Room

11:45pm - Friday, Dec 8, 2017

You'll laugh.
You'll cry.
You'll wonder, "What in the hell is going on here?!"

Oh, hai! To mark the release of THE DISASTER ARTIST (which writer-director-star James Franco saw, for the very first time, AT ye olde Rio Theatre in November, 2013) we're screening the cult-movie phenomenon that is THE ROOM as a Friday Late Night Movie! A marvel of modern cinema, THE ROOM is so powerful that it will, literally, "tear you apart." (Or, maybe just your brain. And occasionally your eyeballs.)

(I mean, in the pantheon of you-gotta-see-it-to-believe-it best-worst movies, it's quite possible that nothing tops THE ROOM. It's the CITIZEN KANE of bad movies!)

And truly, truly, the best (trust!) way to experience this "masterpiece" is in the dark, on the big screen, and with a packed audience of confused (and enthused!) lovers of director Tommy Wiseau's bizarre cinematic oddity that has morphed into a pop-culture phenomenon. Also: #spoons.
