Blade Runner: The Final Cut

Blade Runner: The Final Cut

9:30pm - Tuesday, Aug 4, 2020

"More human than human is our motto."

In 2007 director Ridley Scott released BLADE RUNNER: The Final Cut, the “definitive” edition – the workprint feature version – which has since been remastered for theatrical release. Catch it in all its director approved, futuretastic, digital sci-fi glory on the big screen - the way nature intended.

In the year 2019 (!), ex-detective Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is called out of retirement to track down and eliminate a team of humanoid androids that have escaped from an outer space mining colony and have taken refuge here on Earth. During his search for the fugitives, he discovers some disturbing secrets about the future plans of the androids' manufacturer, the Tyrell Corporation. Also starring Sean Young, Rutger Hauer, Edward James Olmos, Daryl Hannah.

"A visually remarkable, achingly human sci-fi masterpiece." (Rotten Tomatoes)

"This is perhaps the only science-fiction film that can be called transcendental." (Entertainment Weekly)

"A masterpiece of dystopian science fiction on film." (Daily Telegraph)
