Cagefest – our (unofficial) Nicolas Cage Film Fest (aka, NIFF), a solid 5 days’ worth of our fave performances from one of our all-time favourite contemporary actors - continues with a title that while often requested, has remained elusive on our big screen... Until now.

Prepare yourselves accordingly, Vancouver, as we'll be offering up a special performance from Mr. Cage from the endlessly stylish, elegantly violent, trash fantasy cult-classic cat-and-mouse two-hander, where another of his legendary scene stealing (and chewing) performances is more than capably matched by an equally bonkers turn from on-screen foil John Travolta: John Woo's FACE/OFF.

Obsessed with bringing terrorist Castor Troy to justice, FBI agent Sean Archer (Travolta) tracks down Troy (Cage), who has boarded a plane in Los Angeles. After the plane crashes and Troy is severely injured, possibly dead, Archer undergoes surgery to remove his face and replace it with Troy's. As Archer tries to use his disguise to elicit information about a bomb from Troy's brother, Troy awakes from a coma and forces the doctor who performed the surgery to give him Archer's face. With Gina Gershon, Joan Allen, Alessandro Nivola, Dominique Swain, Nick Cassavetes, Colm Feore.
