Those of you who have run a Rainshadow race know that we're all about community and celebrating the greater community of trail-lovers. We bring the same laid-back enthusiasm and trail-loving camaraderie to showcasing trail running films of all shapes, sizes, and varieties as we do to our dynamic and beloved Northwest trail race series. And, like our races, we also showcase great local scenery - local theaters with lots of character that serve beer, alongside a night of great films and good friends.

There are a lot of talented filmmakers in this close-knit and extended trail community, and we wanted to create a way to showcase everything we love so much about trail running while simultaneously highlighting local, regional, national, and international filmmakers. Thus, The Trail Running Film Fest was born.

We had an extremely successful debut tour throughout the Northwest in March of 2014, a huge run on a nation-wide tour through the fall of 2014, and we're back for even more in 2015, starting with two regional tours in March and April.
