In 2021, Lana Wachowski surprised sci-fi fans around the world with another foray into the beloved Matrix franchise, thanks to the somewhat unexpected reboot The Matrix Resurrections. This fourth installment (and likely end) to the thrilling cyberpunk saga has stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss returning to reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity, re-vists many of the engrossing characters and plot elements and addresses many of the burning philosophical and existential questions left smouldering since the last film, 2003's The Matrix Revolutions.
