Snakes On A Plane
The Rio Theatre's Friday Late Movie series continues on April 1 with (no joke!) SNAKES ON A PLANE, one of the all-time so-bad-it's-good, and yet-we-love-it examples of campy, B-movie goodness ever... Which makes it a pretty perfect pick for late night viewing.
In this FBI agent Nelville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) boards a flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles, escorting a witness to trial. An on-board assassin releases a crate of deadly serpents in an attempt to kill the witness. Flynn and a host of frightened passengers and crew must band together to survive the slithery threat. With Kenan Thompson, Julianna Margulies, Nathan Phillips, Rachel Blanchard.
"This is a good-looking film, and [Sam] Jackson is just so much fun to watch. The other horror films that are out there? This one's a slither above them all." (Good Morning America)
"Few studio-supported films match its B-movie nirvana of stupid-goodness. It's exactly what its title suggests and more ? the proof in the primal levels ranging from basic exploited fears to the crowd?s roaring reactions and howls of humor or horror." (The Film Yap)
