Synopsis:
17 year old Avery and her two best friends, Mandy and Kaley, are enjoying their senior year of high school. Unbeknownst to the other students, they are the minds behind a successful prank blog in which the girls set up jokes and then secretly film them as they play out. Kaley has begun to take the blog too far and the jokes have become increasingly mean. When Kaley creates a fake blog on an international dating site to see what kind of “losers” will contact them, she meets (virtually) John—a lonely computer programmer looking for love. Kaley decides to see how far she can take the prank and convinces John to buy his online lover “Diwata” a plane ticket to LA from the Philippines. When John shows up at the airport to pick her up, Kaley makes sure all three girls are there ready to film with their phones. Avery, duped into going along, gets angry and ends her friendship with Kaley right then and there. Unfortunately, it’s too late. John discovers who is behind his humiliation and the unstable hermit decides to teach the three girls a lesson in humiliation and isolation that they’ll be lucky to survive…
