Mrs. Smith and Friends: A Fundraiser For My Gay Son
8:00pm - Thursday, Dec 1, 2022
Mrs. Smith's Scottish Living Room is a WILD variety show featuring Scottish advice, singing, drag, comedy, prizes and other surprises. Many of you have asked, so by popular demand, IT'S BACK!
The show that has it all is coming to the Rio Theatre's stage on Thursday, December 1 for a special, double fundraising event featuring Mrs. Smith, the Celebrity Life Coach, Mother to The World AND Best Selling Author of the books, "Stop Smoking Start Knitting" and "Oh My God, My Sons are Homosexual."
This fundraising spectacular is to raise the last bit of additional funds required for the in-development OUTtv series “Abundantly Queer”, a mock reality show set in Vancouver. The show portrays the highs and lows of Vancouver’s queer elite, and was written and created by Mrs. Smith’s son, Jamie, who along with his crew need to raise a little bit more in funds to complete the show’s budget. Help us get Abundantly Queer onto the airwaves!
Mrs. Smith will also be donating 10% of the proceeds to Rainbow Refugee, a Vancouver-based, grassroots organization dedicated to sponsoring gay folks around the world to come to safety in Canada.
