It stars Rajinikanth in the title role, along with Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa Menon, Yogibabu and Vinayakan. Mohanlal makes a cameo appearance.
