Let’s do the Time Warp… Again!

This cult-classic rock movie musical has been giving absolute pleasure to adoring audiences "spaced out on sensations like they’re under sedation" for over four decades, and there's absolutely no better time to see and experience this pop-culture landmark than the the way it is meant to be seen – on the big screen, in the dark, and with a raucous Rio Theatre audience who are just as into it as you are.

Even better? Our screenings will be hosted by Geekenders' founder and local icon Fairlith Harvey, who is - jazz hands down - the undisputed Queen of ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW hosting in Vancouver! She will be on on-hand to guide the Virgins (and veterans!) through all the do's-and-don'ts of this monumentally experiential cinematic phenomenon.

As always, costumes and audience participation are highly encouraged! (In other words: Prizes! Here's your chance to go all out and let your freak flag fly, people.) The ticket price includes a fun prop bag, too.

Your own props are also, of course, very welcome, but please – whatever you do – DO NOT BRING RICE!

Please Note: THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW at the Rio Theatre in October is officially iconic, and screenings typically sell out in advance.
In other words: Make plans and get tickets sooner than later. If a screening event is marked as "sold out" online, we can't guarantee that we will have any rush tickets to sell at the door... And if we do release tickets, they are first come first served, not guaranteed, and not available until showtime.
What does that mean? It means if you want to ensure entry for you and your friends, you need to get tickets in advance. If a show is marked "sold out" online, and you still want to try your hand and wait in line for a coupla hours in case some seats become available at showtime, then do that... No guarantees. That's it. It's that simple.
