The Critical Hit Show: A #DND Live Improvised Epic Fantasy
The live, smash hit epic comedy THE CRITICAL HIT SHOW returns to the Rio Theatre's stage for another night of improv comedy gold on Wednesday, August 29. Prepare yourself for more monsters, medieval mirth, merriment, and... snacks.
Now in its 12th year, THE CRITICAL HIT SHOW is bone fide East Van staple. Some of the City's best comedic performers grace the stage in a night featuring intrepid players on a gallant quest for comedy glory (and more snacks!) in a hilariously epic adventure.
Spanning over 100 live performances in both Canada and the United States, two years of “at-home” streaming, and frequent festival appearances, THE CRITICAL HIT SHOW is one of the longest running comedy shows around. #DNDLive is an improvised adventure that takes its inspiration from tabletop role-playing games, fantasy film and TV, and (most importantly) you!
Whether you’re a longtime fan, you’ve been enjoying our live streamed shows, or you’re brand new to THE CRITICAL HIT SHOW - you’re going to have a great time.
