The Rio Theatre continues its deep dive into Halloween movie goodness with a 25th Anniversary screening of Tim Burton's ultra-goth, ultra-spooky, ultra-romantic SLEEPY HOLLOW. Based on Washington Irving's classic tale "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," Burton's classic period film (set in 1799) is a perfect vehicle for the director's signature style and aesthetic. Faithful to the dreamy custom-bound world that Irving paints in his story, the film mixes horror, fantasy and romance and features an extraordinary cast of characters that dabble in the supernatural. With Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, Miranda Richardson.
