DOUBLE BILL: Blade Runner: The Final Cut & Blade Runner 2049
You asked for it Rio Theatre movie goers and we’re bringing it to you: Double Bill: BLADE RUNNER: The Final Cut & BLADE RUNNER 2049. It’s double the blades, double the running at special Double Bill pricing happening Sunday, May 18th!
“More human than human is our motto.”
In 2007, director Ridley Scott released BLADE RUNNER: The Final Cut, the “definitive” edition (the work-print feature version), which has since been remastered for theatrical release. Catch it in all its director approved, futuretastic, digital sci-fi glory on the big screen – the way nature intended.
In 2017, Canadian director Denis Villeneuve unleashed one of the most anticipated sequels of all time, BLADE RUNNER 2049. Set thirty years after the events of Ridley Scott's original BLADE RUNNER, the sequel follows a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), who unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. K's discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), the former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years. With Jared Leto, Robin Wright.
