I Live Here Now
In the surreal landscape of I LIVE HERE NOW, struggling actress Rose finds her life upended by unexpected news. She’s suddenly forced to confront a future she never thought possible, just as a major career opportunity with top agent Cindy Abrams comes into view. Things spiral further when her casual boyfriend, Travis brings his overbearing mother into the fold, pushing Rose to the brink.
She flees to The Crown Inn, a crumbling motel at the edge of nowhere, where time fractures and reality bends. Haunted by sleep paralysis, splintered memories, and eerie motel dwellers, especially the enigmatic Lillian, Rose begins to unravel. To move forward, she must confront the buried truth of her past that her body has never forgotten.
Shot on vibrant 35mm with striking 16mm sequences, and directed by Julie Pacino in her feature debut, I LIVE HERE NOW is a haunting, dreamlike psychodrama about identity, trauma, and the fragile line between memory and madness. Heavily inspired by the works of Dario Argento and David Lynch, I LIVE HERE NOW has heavy ties to the "'Twin Peaks' Universe" through co-star Sheryl Lee and music supervisor Dean Hurley (who worked frequently with Angelo Badalementi on Lynch's work). Also starring comedian Matt Rife, Lucy Fry, and Madeleine Brewer, I LIVE HERE NOW is one of this year's true midnight movies.

"A kind of gothic inner-romance, full of childhood trauma, body issues, and psychological keyholes. It is a saturated fairy tale of self-therapy-by-fire. The painful birth of a new-you, built out of the anxieties, projections, and flesh, of the old you." (Screen Anarchy)
"For viewers willing to descend into Rose’s inferno, it’s a must-watch, nightmarish journey through the female psyche in all its broken, blistering, and beautiful complexity." (Next Best Picture)
"‘I Live Here Now’ is a surrealist vision of a woman’s struggle against a lifetime of neuroses, projected expectations, and abuse. " (Dread Central)
