Join us as we celebrate the next generation of filmmakers at the 36th Annual Persistence of Vision (POV)
Film Festival, proudly presented by students of the UBC Film Production Program.

Over two nights at Vancouver’s iconic Rio Theatre, POV36 will showcase bold new perspectives and
emerging voices through two curated screenings, culminating in our Award Ceremony.

Iris Programme A — Competition
The Iris Programme is a showcase of short films created by third- and fourth-year students in the UBC Film Production Program. Each film offers a distinct perspective, inviting audiences into the worlds, experiences, and imaginations of the filmmakers behind them.
